This buy is !!CLOSED!!

OK here is the deal:

1. Need 40 sacks for this delivery.
2. People will have to come and pick up their bags at the drop off location on a specific date and time after the order has been received ( Poughkeepsie, NY).
3. Payment will be done through certified check or money order via snail mail, and will be required up front before the order is placed. personal check is an option but will delay the order by a few days. An estimate will be calculated once the order filled and any adjustments will be promptly credited back to each buyer via paypal or other arrangement. Buyers will have 1 week to submit payment after buy is closed. Paypal will not be used unless you are willing to pay the fees involved, they have threatened to delete my account for receiving gift payments on other grain buys ive done (perfectly within their terms of service).
We have changed suppliers due to some BS that was pulled by the previous supplier.

Prices are similar to what we paid before, although shipping is much more.

Products are more limited. Prices and products are listed on the spreadsheet (link below).

ORDER ENTRY

reply to this thread with what you want.
If you have any issues with the payment methods please PM me. If you do not make payment within 1 week from the time actual pricing is provided you forfeit your right to buy your grain and to participate in the grain buys until further notice. Not trying to be a jerk, but seriously, if you can't make payment within 1 week then you better contact me directly or don't participate. It slows down the order and it is detrimental to the group participants.

DELIVERY: Will be made to K47K's residence in Poughkeepsie, NY.

I will expect participants to work together and figure out a plan to mule sacks for their region. This worked out well last time. we were able to get sacks as far west as Hartford, CT and as far east as Pennsylvania.

K47K will keep us all updated on when the grain order is to arrive, when you should show up to get it, and all that jazz. You, as the buyer, are responsible for picking up your grain or for making arrangements for someone else to pick up and hold your grain for you. Please make your best effort to make the preplanned pickup date as described above.

You may reply to this thread with Orders, i will be tracked them in google docs. LINK:

Send me your gmail address, full name and HBT username and i will get you added to the access list (most of the regulars are already added).

Current # of Sacks:40

Sucks that shipping is so high now.

Count me in for:

5214 Briess 2row x2
5249 Durst Pale Ale x1

Count me in for:

5201 Breiss Pilsner
5215 Breiss Pale Malt
5214 Breiss 2-Row
5205 Breiss Munich 10L

Thanks

forgot to mention if we buy 40 sacks of the same product you get a few $ off per sack. I think most people like variety so its probably not possible.

(Psst, PA is west of PO-Town & CT is east)

I gotta check my inventory but I might still be good since the last buy. Thanks for letting me know about this.

was wondering how long it would take for someone to read the instructions and notice that! you are the first :)

Can you post or pm me who the supplier is? I'm curious and might have a better shipping solution for the next buy.

only a few sacks left to close this one out, if you intend to get in on this buy place your order now.

Poobah backed out so we have room for about 9 more sacks.

Thanks for including me in this buy.
I have enough grain to last until your next one.
Please keep me on your E-Mail list.

we had a backout so there is room for a few more sacks.

1 5255 Durst Wheat @ $34
1 5145 Gambrinus Pilsner @ $38
1 5147 Gambrinus Munich 10L @ $40
1 5146 Gambrinus ESB @ $38

We have 40 sacks and The buy is now CLOSED.

please review the spreadsheet for accuracy and send payment (money order or paypal).

If you send paypal, ensure that you either cover any fees or you send as "payment owed".

If you send as "payment owed" do not put any notes that would indicate that i am selling you something or my account will be deleted for violating terms of service.

My address and paypal information can be found on the bottom left of the spreadsheet.

Just waiting on 2 payments. if all goes well we will see grain next week.

PS. I have some Crystal 60L im looking to split, if anyone needs a few lbs. $1.10/lb

I might be down for 10 if my current group buy doesn't come through. Can you give 'grathan55' spreadsheet access so I can get an idea of pricing?

i will open up a buy after labor day. things didnt work ou.t with the last supplier so i have to work something else out as such, pricing and products on old spreadsheets is invalid. ill update the sheet when i find a new supplier.

What happened with NCM?

NCM no longer sells to homebrewers or grandfathered accounts. the last buy used another supplier, who also doesnt sell to homebrewers, although didnt state that until the shipment was in transit, then threatened to recall the pallet charging me for shipping both ways.

Seems like more and more are going to be enforcing this. :(
