Herms setup almost completed

This weekend I will complete my HERMS build...all out of SS tubing, using a Chugger pumper and high temp silicone tubing..

Question....

Do I need to do anything to clean all the SS fittings and tubing that I have assembled before I brew for the first time?? Is so...how do I clean it and with what??

I have read that there could be some oils left on SS from when it was manufactured, of which was taste really bad in my beer....

Run a couple of cycles of hot water through the whole thing and flush it out before your first batch.

I was not sure if running some PBW would a good idea or not.

/\ ... Def wouldn't hurt to run a cycle of PBW then hot water. not really a big deal either way..
