allright this has been on my to do list for months. it's just been sitting in the bucket for a few months. today i just decided to try a sample. i mixed it with real apple juice and it tastes pretty good so i would hate to throw it out. I just used a unsanitized soup ladle to take the sample. i only had $5 invested in the entire batch so i didn't want to whip up a gallon of star san just for it. how bad do you think that hurt my cider?

If the ladel was clean, it should be no problem. Remember the cider now has alcohol to provide some protection. Don't abuse it though; if you push your luck, eventually it will get ruined.
