I got one I'll never solve.

"Why is my wife so gall darned mean?"

She loves me and hates me at the same time
There is a solution...Somewere...That Ive not found...

It wasn't a spell
Or some dark omen
All is well
You married a woman.

I dread you're right.
All men will suffer the same plight.

I'm not the first or the last to complain...
All us guys here (and maybe you gals too) are suffering this pain.

I'll just carry on...
I hope not in vain.

I want to say something but I'm not quite sure just how
This thread has been here, nearly half a year now
Sometimes it goes stagnant for a little while
And then another riddle ryhme is posted.. I think that makes us all smile

As I just walked out to my man cave to pull a homebrew from the last keg
Thought of a great line for the next leg
But the tap farted.. and it gave me only dregs
I should have known, that old girl, she sure likes me to beg.

By the time I got back to my digital site.
The thought was lost like a string broken on a kite.
So work with me here, tonight I've drank some great beer.
And you are all wonderfully creative people who post here

And maybe it's to this of which I sing
Tis the holiday season and I wish you all swell
Look forward as always to this riddle thread doing well.

Looks as though recently more rhyming riddlers on the site
Thanks to you all and to all a great night.

Happy Holidays to all who come here to play
Happy Holidays, Happy Holidays.. that's what I wanted to say! :mug:

I'm stalling, I can't find my riddles...
I would have swore that I put them in the case with my $iddles (I know banned!)

Happy Holidays to you Dan and all who post here.
I wish you all the best and much Holiday Cheer.

I'm trying to do some online shopping..
Drinking coffee, smoking cigs and coughing.

It's Sunday 10:00pm don't be sour.
Lets all have a happy hour (aw $hit only 4-6 it's over)

He starts and ends with common English words
Of painful love for words no longer heard
The other brings pain to gray matter.
When either one happens, you probably don't want to chatter
Do you know what two words they must be?
Some one will get this, before I go pee. (Ischavio inspired last line :mug:)

This is not a riddle. This is a question, or venting. I'm pissed off right now!. And heart broken.

I'm not light at heart while I write this. Don't take it as such. I'm physically stricken with grief, I threw up, and tears flowed out of my eyes because of the horrendous evil that happened in Conneticut on December 14th, 2012.

Why before us are young children dead!?

GOD WHY??!!!

I don't understand.
What's going on in our land
Lives taken so easily by some weird a$$ man
Young kids killed no reason at hand
I'm a parent and this is the worst nightmere
It should not be one of my family's fears
We put our kids into school each day and every day,
Much like our parents did back in our day
Back then a school was not a tool
For some lame**** head to kill kids just to be effing cool
I am so pissed off right now
And
This is not a riddle for this thread
It's just me angry and grieving for those parents not able to hold their children tonight. This is the USA and this is not right. I'm tired of the gun lobbyist saying crap like.. Only the criminals will have guns if guns are taken.. Never owned a gun in my life and I'm close to 50 years old. The only people I've ever worried about are the people that need to have them in their house.

When I was a kid about 15, growing up in a small town. Two little brothers, 6&8 shot each other. Their dad left pistols out. Kids played with them. Killed each other.. WTF Dad did you need a gun for? Really WTF.. I bet that guy still ask himself the same question everyday of his life since then.

Sorry.. This topic just pisses the eff out of me. Get rid of every effing gun in this country.. round up every single one. I'm tired of hearing about the right to bare arms against our CHILDREN!!!!!!!!!!!

Dan, I understand your pain. I feel much the same way. There was a time in human history before the Chinese invented the first gun. Murder still happened.

According to my research there's approximately 75,000 alcohol-related deaths in the US each year. I think you'll agree prohibition did not work. By comparison firearms are responsible for approximately 30,000 deaths the majority of which were suicide.

When you go to the doctor you don't want him to treat the symptoms, but to treat cause and to fix your problem. I believe the problem isn't guns, nor alcohol, nor knives, nor sticks, nor stones. The problem is the heart of man.

We no longer value other people. Our culture has become increasingly self-centered and isolated. Our schools are teaching that we are nothing more than animals. We shouldn't be surprised when one wolf kills another.

The truth is we know we are not animals. That is why we are so upset about Sandy Hook. We want to believe we are animals, when it is conducive to our own selfishness. However, when something like this happens we don't understand why.

Our founding fathers believed, and rightly so, that all men are created equal. They were created in the image of the Creator. As a nation we have forgotten this fact. The civil-war is the most costly example of this.

Tighter security at schools is not the answer. Tighter gun control laws are not the answer. The answer is love.

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (New International Version)

The Bible teaches us that the heart is deceitful above all things. It says that we all have gone astray. We all fall short of God's requirements. I know that I am no better than anyone else.

Jesus Christ's perfect life and selfless sacrifice are what make it possible for me to love my neighbor. We love because he first loved us.
Do I do it perfectly? By all means, no. I'm not perfect yet, but God's not finished with me. Nor is He finished with you Dan. I pray my words have given you some peace and hope. Even though it might not seem that way, God is good, and He is in control.

I don't have a rhyme this time Dan, but I understand your anger. I couldn't even watch an entire news report because it upset me so much. The mental health angle is what concerns me the most about all of this. Anyways...

:mug:

Sorry folks sometimes I ramble
With this thread I don't like to gamble
I sometimes wear my heart on my sleeve
But that's just Dan, if you know what I mean

So hopefully to pull this train back on track
I think below is the last riddle posted; before I cracked

Not for sure but thinking LabRatBrewer knows the answer
If he were a reindeer his name would be Prancer
Because it rhymes with answer which he does not like to outright give
Come on my riddling friends.. get this thread going again. :mug:.

I want to answer so much it hurts my head
Instead, I'll put this lonely rat to bed

PM sent

Heartache and headache are painful to bear
Which hurts the most I don't even care
Stop with the chatter
Somethings the matter
My head will shatter
My heart to splatter
If I had a gun
I'd be done

You can do it in vessels for getting you clean.
You can do it to fabric to stop being seen.
You are doing it when you've come up short.
You've done it too when you've equaled in sport.
This may sound like there should be images but then you can do all those things without pencil or pen.

Okay LRB back to the drawing board I go
The answer I was thinking only covered a couple lines bro
I do ask one little hint
Is it one word that need be sent?

New to this thread
Have not yet read
A single reply
And so you ask, why?
Because I do not have the patience
To skim through ninety-nine pages of nonsense
Full of witty replies
Unable to surmise
One collective thought
From the riddles we wrought
An endless rant stripped of any plot
With all sense of logic tied in a knot
Now six months to the day has passed by
The life of this topic drained dry
So I hope you enjoyed my first & last reply
Good Day, Good Evening, Goodbye

Actually, that was mostly a lie
My sense of humor is really quite wry
I'm less of a cheery riddler & more of crabby rhymer
So if I offended you, old-timer
Then I apologize for the wisecracks
Expect a few comebacks
Maybe eighty
...If I'm not too lazy

Did my rhyme go over your head?
Was it something I said?
Please re-read before you quote me a lullaby
Perhaps then my rhyme will be justified

Wow we are! That would be pretty cool to hit 1,000 exactly six months after this thread started. No record by any means but cool none the same.

Sabrina gave Samantha as many dollars as Samantha started out with. Samantha then gave Sabrina back as much as Sabrina had left. Sabrina then gave Samantha as back as many dollars as Samantha had left, which left Sabrina broke and gave Samantha a total of $80.00. How much did Sabrina and Samantha have at the beginning of their exchange?

...Just to get to that 1000 gem....

Working backwards...
Sabrina/Samantha
00 / 80
40 / 40
20 / 60
50 / 30

Sabrina started out with 50, Samantha with 30.

First think of the person who lives in disguise,
Who deals in secrets and tell naught but lies.
Next tell me what's always the last thing to mend,
The middle of middle and end of the end?
And finally give me the sound often heard,
During the search for a hard-to-find word.
Now string them together, and answer me this,
Which creature would you be unwilling to kiss?

It's little miss muffets one and only fear
When a female's around a screams what you'll hear
my daughter sees one and says to hide her
the answer to your riddle is clearly spider

Kaboom!!!

You blew that one right out of the water
Next time I'll make them a little bit harder :mug:

I have one, you have one.
If you remove the first letter, a bit remains.
If you remove the second, bit still remains.
After much trying, you might be able to remove the third one also, but it remains.
It dies hard!
