I got a 1 gallon brewers jug from a friend. Can I condition/ carbonate in this? it as a con on the bottom side of the cap.. I have 2 of them. I'll take photos when able.

if so, yeah.. do anything you want with it..

be careful of you carb levels in this.. lotta glass.
 
Yeah, I'd steer away from those. It probably wouldn't even work properly unless you shrink-sealed or wax-sealed the cap... they're not exactly air tight.
 
They're good for starters. I've also done a few one gallon experimental batches in them. Say, something that may taste great, or may suck, but either way, you learn something. I try to do it where I'm going to brew something big that needs a lot of yeast. Then you rack out of your one gallon, and have a big amount of yeast for your next brew.
 
I love these as FERMENTATION VESSLES.
They must never be pressurized. They were never built for that kind of stress and you are asking for significant trouble if one of them shatters.:mad:
