Why the Crystal 80? I think it will give you too much caramel flavor. I think 1 lb of Crystal 40-60 is good enough for some color/sweetness.

Yeah...2 pounds of crystal malt is too much. I'd use a half pound of each personally, but no more than a pound total.

Hops look fine...I'd drop the 30 minute to 5 mins or less.

Looks great but I'm agreeing with others that you will be happier if you move some of your hop additions later. I think your two oz early will give you plenty of bite and then everything else after 15 or even 5 to give you flavor and aroma. The two pounds of crystal may be very sweet. I've never dry hopped with Nugget. I'd love to hear how it goes, or just send a case ;-)

Thanks so far! I will def. reduce the crystal and move the 30 minute hops to 10 minute. May leave a small amount at 30 still. I have never used chinook or nugget in an IPA before, but I was able to buy about 1/2 pound whole leaf of each(chinook and nugget) at a brew fest from a local hop grower. The best part was the price of $1 an ounce! So I have been looking for recipes for these 2 kinds of hops. This recipe I developed myself and I will also do an Arrogant Bastard brew as well with the chinook. Any other ideas will be very helpful. Thanks again!

I agree with the others about dropping the C80 & moving the 30 min hop addition.

Also, I'd up the sugar addition. Normally for an IIPA I use 8-10% sugar to dry it out & mash low around 148-150 F. Otherwise it could end up too sweet...just my personal preference.

Okay; modified the crystal to 1/2 lb each of 40L and 60L. Got rid of the 30 minute hop and added an ounce at 10 minutes and doubled my hop addition at 15 minutes. Also doubled my sugar addition at 5 minutes. Can anyone tell me why Brewsmith only has me sparging with 1/2 gallon of water?

One more thing- It looks like I will have to use 2 vials of WLP001 and a starter with a OG of 1.099. Is there any way around me having to buy 2 vials of yeast besides the obvious and dropping the OG? That gets expensive!!

~8 gallons of liquor minus ~2 gallons grain absorption equals ~6 gallons first runnings.
