Has anyone here harvested the yeast from the Grand Cru Winter Reserve?

I bottled the last bit of a sixtel I had in November and was able to get some yeast going in a starter yesterday. I'm guessing its probably just one of the white labs or wyeast strains available and nothing special but i was glad to see the starter take off.

When I toured the FF brewery a while ago, they mentioned that they use Chimay yeast for their Belgians, if I remember correctly.

You can email them and ask. They are very homebrewer friendly.

Thanks, I'll shoot them an email.

I was actually a little surprised it took off since the winter reserve is a year old when it is released I thought the yeast might have been dead.
