I have had the milled grains, for a batch of Ed's Haus Pale Ale, in a Foodsaver bag in my freezer for a while. Life got crazy busy. Question 1; How long can I expect the grains to be good. Question 2; how can I tell if they are still good?

Thanks in Advance!

I'd try and use the grain, especially if you have room for it. If it turns out great, you saved some money, if it doesn't at least you tried. I currently have grains for 8 upcoming summer batches in my freezer because I bought (and crushed) some in bulk when I was at Midwest in MN. So, if you give it a shot, I'd like to know how it turns out. I'm hoping that my grain will stay good for 8 more weeks..

Brew that grain.

I used 2 month old grain 6# of Pils & 6# of white wheat sitting a room temp the bag was open, but they were in my cooler with the lid shut to keep the air out.

Had no problems and the beer was great.
