I have 2 one gallon batches of cider ready to bottle. I will not be carbing it but want to sweeten it some. What would be a good choice to use as a sweetner and how much do you think for 1 gallon
thanks

I know some people back sweeten their Apple wine with frozen apple juice concentrate. How much just depends on how sweet you want it. Add some and taste it....keep adding small amounts and tasting. Lactose is used to back sweeten stouts...that might work also.

If you have already killed the yeast (campden tablets) then any kind of sugar will work.

If you have not, I would recommend using splenda since it is non fermentable.
