Call me dad of the year

So today I came in from outside and found my 2 yr old sucking on my one piece airlock. It was empty. Only thing is... it was full of starsan last time i looked. Worst case is that he swallowed about 25ml or so of properly diluted starsan. I'm not really worried, but I gave hims something to drink to dilute it further. It was probably about 3 weeks old, on the bucket of Guinness clone that I am about to keg/bottle. I've drank diluted starsan before by accident, to no ill, and really am not worried, but you bet your ass, from now on i'll just be using some water.

At least he didn't have a crazy straw in the bucket suckin down fermented guinness clone.

vodka... ok if its gets "sucked back" into the fermenter and also helps with teething

yeah I use the world's cheapest vodka in my airlocks.... might mellow my daughter out.

I can just imagine the crap this thread would/could stir if the media got a hold of it.

"The dangers of kids and Home brewing!", type of thing.

eh, the mods may delete if they like, just Sharing the love. I know this has happened to other folks and wanted to hear some other stories.

When I was little, my mouth got washed out with soap - maybe sanitizer would have been a nicer alternative!
