Any help/suggestions for my next brew day would be much appreciated.
Heres what Im looking at so far!

American Pale Ale (5 Gallons)

Fermentables:
9# 2 Row
1# Crystal 40
.5# Wheat

Hops:
.75 oz Columbus (60 min)
1 oz Centennial (30 min)
1 oz Citra (Flameout)
(and maybe half an ounce of citra for dry hopping?)

Yeast:
Wyeast 1272 Amercan Ale 2

Mash at 154 for 60 mins, Batch Sparge at 170 + 60 min boil

I would use Maris Otter instead of generic 2Row. Adds malt complexity without weighing it down with specialty malts.

If you go the MO route, I would get rid of the Crystal malt, or at least lower it to ½ lb.

FWIW I like the recipe as is… if I had to critique Id say add some more late hops (15 minutes to flameout).

I'd add some roasted barley, a few pounds of chocolate malt and 3 oz of apple cores......

Just kidding. Looks good to go. For my tastes I would add a bit more late addition hops but other than that it should be tasty.

I'm also in favor of moving the 30m addition to 20m or 15m- you get better flavor that way. Otherwise, looks good to go! Let us know how it turns out!
