Hi John. With all that Bravo, Simco, Centennial and Amarillo, how could it be anything but good? :tank:

I've moved this from HBT's recipe database, which is for tried-and-true recipes, to the Recipe/Ingredient forum. More people will probably see it there and be able to comment. If, after you've brewed it and tasted it, tweeked it and repeated it, feel free to add it to the database.

I need to brew an IPA soon, there are a couple of competitions coming up that I want to enter an IPA in, and with IPAs, the fresher the better.

Looks fine I´ll move the Amarillo at 35 m to later in the boil. And maybe choose a different yeast.

I like this. It's uniting some of my favorite hops in a good and balanced way. Should have a nice dry finish. I would probably dry hop a little longer but that's just habit. I usually dry hop for a week. You could add a pound of Carafa III to this and have a nice Black IPA.

Thanks for the input the yeast is a reuse of a ESB that should be ready to go. I will try and brew this next week. I will think about the 35min change what do you suggest for a different hop or just get rid of the 35min altogether.

Brewing the New Ipa today moved the 35min to .5oz of citra and did simco 1oz at 15 1oz Amarillo at 10 1oz Amarillo at 5 1oz Centennial at 0. Keep dry hop the same. I will let you know how it turns out.
