Would LOVE to have one that could be mounted bulkhead style.

Was having issues with the PID............not the PID, the probe STB
Immersible and hanging in steam are not one in the same :(

I don't know if they will work with your application, but I am using "k" type thermocouples in my pots. I got the bulkhead fittings from williams home brew supply. Here is the link: http://www.williamsbrewing.com/WELD-B-GONE_STEM_THERMOMETER__P1032C141.cfm

The only problem that I had with these is that my thermocouples are 3/16", and they did not fit in these fittings, I had to drill them out just a hair, and they work perfect, no leaks, thermocouple precision!

You can chek out my videos to see my setup if you like. Hope I helped.

CodeRage, that looks like what I'm interested in.
Nice and short, removable is a HUGE plus.
Mine is a stand alone so without any method of CIP I need to be able to tip the keggle over for cleaning.

My manual states I would need a resistor for a 3 wire probe..............?
Wonder what size.

Gotta find a 1/4" SS fitting to have welded into the keggle.

Love the bartering system. Have a tank welding specialist next to my workplace and they like beer :D
