Have the white labs Mexican lager yeast and need help with a recipe that is similar to landshark or corona possibly. I know flaked corn is involved, what else would be a good addition, especially hop varieties?

That stuff is just another North American light adjunct lager, which you probably know already. Anyways if you brew up a batch for your swill-drinking uncle do yourself a favor and harvest the yeast. Then brew up a nice Vienna or Festbier type lager and use the yeast on that. So...

Five Gallons US

6 lbs Pilsner Malt; Rahr

.5 lbs 2-Row Caramel Malt 10L; Briess

2.5 lbs Corn Flaked (Maize)

.75 oz Hallertau (Pellets, 3.5 %AA) boiled 60 min.

.25 oz Hallertau (Pellets, 3.5 %AA) boiled 15 min.

Yeast : White Labs WLP940 Mexican Lager

This will produce a similar type beer but with less corn and a bit more hop but not enough to give your uncle a bitter beer face.
