Just for entertainment purposes, I was hoping you would each list your favorite base malt, crystal/caramel malt, specialty malt, hop, and yeast strain. Temper yourselves, just one. Please post them in the following format:

Base: Simpson's Golden Promise
Crystal: Crisp Caramel 120L
Specialty: Briess Special Roast
Hop: Chinook
Yeast: White Labs' WLP001 Cal Ale


-At the conclusion of the game, I will take the most popular base, crystal, & specialty malt...top 3 hops...and top yeast and make a recipe and brew it. If it seems like fun, we can pass it on to someone else. Who's in?

Base: Great Western American 2-row with a mixture of British base malt like Pearl, Optic, etc.
Crystal: None would be my first choice... Or C10/Carahell if I had to choose
Specialty: Red or White Wheat (when used <10%)
Hop: Pellets ~ Columbus for it's versatility, Citra/Amarillo combo late for aroma
Yeast: White Labs WLP001 or WLP007 when used in the mid to late 60s (F)
