I am trying a clone this weekend and the recipe calls for
14oz of Breiss Victory Malt
140z Breiss Special Roast Malt
140z Breiss Crystal Malt 60l
2oz Breiss Chocolate Malt

My question is I can find most of these malts in my beer program...I am on a mac and use Qbrew. This is an extract batch with steeping grains. I Do not have a couple of these malts in my program, what can I subsititute with in the program to get a close match?

I cant find victory malt, special roast in my program what should I do?

Can you add your own grains into qBrew? If so, Victory is (from the Wiki) 28 SRM and 1.034 potential extract. Special Roast is 50 SRM and 1.033.

If you want something close in color/extract potential to sub into the program, you could use Cryystal 30L (30 SRM / 1.034) for the Victory and maybe a 50/50 split of Crystal 40 and Crystal 60 for the Special Roast.
