What diameter hose would fit into the standard opening of a fermenting bucket? Time for a blow-off tube. Apparently I had a nice explosion at home.

Mine is 1.25" outer diameter for the 6.5 gal carboy.
Usually it's the same as the tubing for your racking cane....

Perfect, thanks guys! I never noticed that the racking tube fit perfectly into the stopper.
And if you catch it before it fills your airlock you can take the bobber out and the tube fits nicely inside the airlock pipe also
