Hey all, so last night I did my first mini mash, and I started out my mash a little high, high 160s.......I played with it and most of the mash was in the mid to high 150s area as per instructions. Now I know high fermentation will yield unfermentables, but if I adjusted to a lower temp was it able to get some fermentables or no because it started too high?

It was up there prob less than 10 min.....but when it was that high I kept pulling it out like a tea bag until I got the temp controlled
