I'm gonna cut right to the chase and spare you the boring details of my tragedy. I was able to salvage 2.5 gal of a witbier I had brewed today. I was originally planning on kegging this but with only 2.5 gal salvaged would I be better off just bottling it?

Go for the keg of you've already prepped for it. It's going to be a smaller volume (obviously) but will carb the same as a 5 gallon batch. Of course you could bottle too...

Just drink it flat, it's only 2.5 gallons after all...hahahaa, Jk, personally I think legging is sooo much easier than bottling

Thanks for the responses guys. I was leaning towards kegging it but I wasn't sure if the smaller volume would have an adverse effect on carbing.

Not at all, just be sure to pull the relief valve a couple times to remove the oxygen in the head space
