Thread title pretty much says it all. I don't know the Curie temperature of my Stirbar but I know that heat degausses magnets. I was wondering if I could boil my Stirbar to sanitize it or if I should just stick with StarSan?

The PTFE-coated stir bars (that are most common) are meant to be used in a lab, on a stirred hot plate. They're fine in boiling water.

Yup, unless you have a high-power neodymium, but even then you'll just reduce the power. It'll still be stronger than a standard stir bar even after boiling. Just make sure it's coated in PTFE (teflon).
