northern brewer caribou slobber.
how long in the primary before i should worry?
11 days.
g- 1.014 but still a layer of krausen on top.

Forget about the foam, and the bubbles, and the date.

Check the gravity in a couple days. If it hasn't moved, you can move to bottling. If it has, give it longer and check again later! Or just forget about it for a few weeks, or months! As long as it's sanitary, it'll just keep getting better. I have 2 NB kits on the shelf, and one in primary that I brewed on Monday this week. It's going to stay there, too, until at least the middle of June (Kit says give it 2 weeks)
I started brewing in January, and was VERY impatient with my first batches. They were OK, but while I was drinking those, I was still brewing. By the time I got to batches 7 and 8 they were 2 months old (4 weeks primary, 4 weeks secondary, force carb in a keg)
They were MUCH better than the beers I choked down at 3 weeks.

im just worried because i wanna rack to carboy and leave sit about 3 or 4 weeks then bottle and condition for 2 more weeks.
