Just bought a tower/tap/regulator on ebay - any input?

That's a pretty good deal considering if everything works.

If you have problems with the regulator you can buy a cheap rebuild kit.

I hope I don't have to tell you this--but replace the beer line in the tower before you install it. Once you attach the tower to something it makes changing the lines a royal PITA.
 
yeah, you got a steal. Like the Dude said, replace the lines before installing it. 6 feet of 3/16 line should be about right. Make sure the faucet is nice and clean too.
 
I'd put a forward sealing faucet on it before using it. You'll never have the "sticky" faucet syndrome from the get-go. Perlicks from Morebeer.com work great. I have 3 on my tower and I've very happy with them.
 
I wish someone would make a forward sealing faucet with adjustable flow. I have adjustables and I love them, but I hate the way they stick.
