If I brew a hard cider or hard lemonade how long with it last in the bottles. I have heard that beer will last about a year.

Beer has no set expiration. I've 2 year old porter that's wonderful, and I've had light beers go 'funny' in under 3 months.

I've not made cider, but have made apfelwein, and it definitely should age 6 months before it begins to show off its true flavor.

I'd say hard cider or lemonade, if stored properly, would be good at least 1 year in the bottle.

Hell I have 11 year old mead that was never sorbated or sulfited, and wasn't stored the best, and its still amazing.

A lot depends on how and where it is stored. Keep it in a cool dark place and it will last almost forever as long as it isn't opened.
