So some of you might have seen my Santa Cruz harvest from a few days ago, and I still have some bines to drop. My ? is, I cut my bines back about 18" above ground, I wanted to lay the tail end under the soil so that they can root and I can have more cuttings next year, should I keep watering these hops or will they go doormat by themselves? What are the right procedures for taking care of these rhizomes after the chop for next season?
Cheers, Gabe

with your climate I would say water a little. Although I am no expert. I would think that you should at least keep them heathly/ watered till it gets colder or non growing season for you. I plan to harvest tomorrow actually but because of my climate and the amount of rain we are getting I will not be watering them but just burying them and hoping I get better shoots next year.
