Built a new keggle with weldless bulkhead/valve. Boiled 12 gallons of water in it for about 1/2 an hour then dumped. What else should I use on the inside of the keggle before the first brew? Oxyclean? One Step? Star San?

I just want to make sure I have this thing as clean as possible before using.

Thanks in advance.

My personal favorite for inside and out is BarKeepers Friend. Works great on stainless. You can get at Ace or Target or HD.

Good luck.

Thanks for the info guys. I did about 2 gallons of oxyclean and a bunch of elbow grease on the inside last night. Will look into getting some of the BK Friend as well, since I have read good things about it.

Thanks again

Good, good, good. Take a look at some of Bobby M's keggle improvements and I think Yuri might have a video on youtube about how to get stickers and stuff off. Enjoy your keggle.
