This is my first recipe. I've been curious about these hops and have wanted to make a nice light, hoppy beer for the spring/summer. What do you guys think?

Any feedback is appreciated, thanks.

You'll be very happy. Simcoe and Amarillo are delicious, either in single-hop beers or together. I just tapped my single-hop Amarillo IPA, and its delicious. A little different grain bill - I used Rahr Pale Malt for most of my base instead of 2-row, and I used more of it, so my ABV is ~7.5%. You could consider a flavor addition with 10 minutes left, but its your recipe, so if you'd rather keep them all for the end just for aroma, that could work too.

So possibly move the flameout addition to 10min? Sounds pretty solid. I don't completely understand what effect different additions at different times have, except for the basic bittering vs flavor/aroma.

I'm excited for this brew.

20-5 min additions impart more flavor to the beer
Flameout and dryhop additions add more aroma

You could keep all hop additions (including dry hop) at 0.5/0.5, so that you'd have a ~10 minute 0.5/0.5 addition.
