Hey everyone!

I'm doing my first chocolate stout (chocolate raspberry stout) to be exact. I've decided on 10.0 oz. cocoa nibs soaked in burbon along with 5 pounds of frozen raspberries (thawed repeatedly) added in at secondary. However, I need some help with the grain bill since I've never done this before.

(For a 60 minute boil)

7.0 lbs Light DME (about half added at beginning of boil, other half at end of boil)

Specialty Grains for Steeping (steeped for 30 minutes)

1.0 lb Crystal 40L
1.0 lb Chocolate Malt
.50 lb Roasted BArley
.50 lb Flaked Oats

Hops

1.0 oz Nugget at beginning of boil
0.5 oz Fuggle at 30 minutes
0.5 oz Fuggle at 60 minutes

I'd love to get feedback on what I have right now. I've seen other recipes with black roasted barley, black patent malt, etc. but 1) I'm not sure what that will do and 2) not sure if I should add it given what I have listed here. Any and all help appreciated!

Thanks,
Mark
