Could Use An Opinion

I already posted this in the recipe board with no responce. I really don't have any idea if this will be any good or not.

Kinda just throwing in what I have on hand at home.

6lb Extra Light DME
2lb Light DME
2lb Crystal 40
1oz Chinook 60 min
1oz Chinook 45 min
1oz Cascade 30 min
1oz Cascade 15 min
.5 oz Saaz 5 min
.5 oz Tettnanger 5 min
White Labs WLP007 Dry English Ale Yeast

Take into account I can only do a three gallon boil due to electric range and space.
I've been taking up alot of fridge space and SWMBO is getting irritated.
I need to get this stuff turned into beer before she tosses it all out.
Does this look feasable at all? Any comments or suggestions would be much appreciated!

2lbs of crystal is a lot, you might want to cut that in half.

Try punching it into the Tastybrew.com recipe calculator as an IPA or something along those lines and see how it adds up

I would agree with the posters above.....to much Crystal and to much hops. Chinooks are pretty strong.

Punched it in beer tools. Came out Imperial IPA

Maybe try this out, cut it back to this

8lbs ME
1lb crystal
1oz Chinook @ 60
.5oz Cascade @ 30
.5oz Cascade @ 5

Then dry hop in secondary with the other ounce of Cascade

OG 1.074
FG 1.019
IBU 66
ABV 7.1 %
SRM 8


That should make a nice IPA, and leave you with enough to make another style of brew with the remaining hops and such
