Wow, I've been brewing sours intensely for almost a year and haven't brewed a lambic yet, somehow!

Changing that today! My homemade pilsner malt, flaked wheat (25%, more to my tastes), and a little pale crystal. Mashing as we speak

Anyone else brewing funky beer for National Homebrew Day?

Cheers!

I brewed my first sour on Big Brew: pale malt and white wheat malt (~40%) with Roeselare and assorted dregs to come. The ale yeast is already working strong.

My club did a 50 gallon Turbid mashed Lambic, I've been brewing with funk for 2 years and had never done a Turbid mash. I learned alot but it was a *****. Looking forward to next year when we rack.

We used a big pitch of Bugfarm 6.
