What's the longest I can leave my brew in the primary? It's been in there for 8 days I won't be able to put in secondary until tomorrow. Is this okay there is a bubble like once every 3 minutes and it's been that way since Saturday.

It'll be fine. Most people try for anything between 3-14 days.

I left a brew in the primary for 34 days once and it won Best of Show and Best of Style.:D

What part of Jersey are you from? I'm originally from Camden, but I lived all around there and eventually ended up in Atlantic City before the Army.

Ah, I love Jersey geography. I'm in Baltimore now, but I used to be exit 123 off the parkway, good ol' central jersey. (8 on the tpk)

hells yeah! im from Wayne...North Jersey, willowbrook mall, passaic county, pompton queen diner...

SWMBO is from Wayne, we head up there every other month or so to visit/take care of her dad. I like eating lunch at the Lincoln Park airport, more for the view than the food. Liqour is a lot cheaper up in Jersey than here in Virginia so we tend to stock up on our trips. :mug:

haha lincoln park airport! When i was a kid i watched them build a fake house and crash a plane in it, then rebuild it and crash it again...it was in the movie "the world according to garp"

yeah in jersey they have Liquer Stores, what a novel idea! sell beer, booze, wine, ciggaretts, and porno-mags all in one place. Here in VA the government sells liquer, all by its self. The first time i went to an ABC store here i was like, "yeah let me get a pack of marlboro's" and the lady looked at me like i was an outlaw, and says, "we dont sell tobacco here" WTF!!! why the hell not!!! (i notice they sell wine now though, whats up with that? itys supposed to be liquer ONLY)

p.s. what high school did SWMBO go to? wayne hills? wayne valley? Depaul?
im actually from Pequannock/Pompton plains, but knowbody ever heard of THAT before...

She went to a small catholic high school that is closed now, I think it closed in '92 or '93. I forget the name but it's near Lake Packanack (where she grew up). Her dad gets all the flyers of the local liquor stores and searches for the best deals but down here it's the same price everywhere and that tends to be quite high, B&B goes for $24/1.75L up there and $37 down here. Im at work now but I'll ask later where she went to high school, I think she had a friend that went to one of those others you listed.

I think it was called Neumann prep, she graduated in '89 and her graduating class had 89 people weird coincidence.

I want to join in on the Jersey fun.

I am living in Stanhope now. Right off rt 80, exit 27b

Sussex...i used to live in Vernon. Its funny how most people think of Jersey as either Newark or east orange, (inner city) or the Shore. you go up north out in the boondocks and its as rural as upstate ny or pensylvania...

My brother-in-law lives up in Vernon, and had to put a fence up in his backyard to keep the bears out. It's certainly a different world up there, we hiked in a park somewhere up north and at one point you could see NYC-pretty cool.
