It's been a while since I posted in this forum and I have yet to report the outcome of my first brew in here. According to myself and various of my friends, my first batch which is an Irish Stout from the homebrewery.com was a success! :ban: The flavor was what I expected and there were no off flavors that I can identify in this batch. All the bottles carbonated very well and the process went smoothly with no hitch.

However, there are some things that bothered me when I bottled my beer and I have yet to ask anyone about it. the bucket that I used to ferment got stained by the beer (left it in for 3 weeks) and the smell still lingers. I plan on making my next batch soon and I was wondering if the fermenter will affect my next batch (Yellow Dog Pale Ale from www.homebrewery.com).
