Guys I just got back from Sam's Club and they have these for $39.81

IIRC, about 55k btu.

Thanks again for the heads up on this thing Tree... FINALLY got out to Sams saturday and snagged one. It's a nice piece of equip, especially for the price! It ought to do me fine. They still had 4 left plus the display.

Sweet, hope you like it. I found in the manual that the burner is only 51,000 BTU, but it worked fine for my last brew, even with the dreaded boil over that soaked the burner. Glad I was outside, my wife would have been PISSED for days had that happened in the kitchen.

Another Detroiter here too! I'm probably going to the Southgate MI Sams Club this week anyway and will pick one up. I'm hoping since they sell that thing with a 34 quart (8.5 gallons?) pot it will handle boiling 5 gallons without issue.
