Anyone used a drill pump

I've seen a few builds that started with one and ended with them buying a pump. They seem to work just fine.
 
I am still trying to reduce my cooling time since it is taking me ~40 min even on a 5g batch and longer on the 10g batches. Granted I only have the 25ft copper im. I was looking at pond pumps and found this thing

Maybe use that once I build a counter flow or buy a plate chiller

I have one of those. I use it to suck out the crap that grows in my AC condensation line. Works great (for that).

It would probably work with beer. I doubt the plastics would work at boiling temps though. I'd recommend saving your pennies and getting a march or chugger pump.
