Is it ok to scoop off the foam that forms early during the boil of your wort or should i just leave it be.

I honestly can't say if it has an impact on the beer one way or another, but I usually scoop it off until I add my bittering hops, and all my beer turns out good. I think I did see something like this posted somewhere, though.
I dont mess with it and my beer tastes good as well. It's all a matter of personal preference.
The foam "breaks" and then the proteins just fall to the bottom as the kettle cools. It's called hot break, and there's no need to mess with it.
