Hi guys!

I had to dump a whole batch of infected beer, about 60 bottles :(

I'd like to reuse these bottle because these are nice bottles, and it took me a really long time to unsticker these bottle (and it's a pain is the a$$).

So, would a regular wash/rinse/sanitize run be enough to use it safely?
I normally wash them with a chlorine base soap and hot water, then rinse a few times, then I use Star San and a bottle fountain to sanitize.

I also have Sodium and Potassium metabisulfites on hand, if it could help.

Of course I'm talking about glass bottles.

Thanks!

I think good washing, a long soak in PBW/Oxyclean, a good rinsing, and another soak in StarSan should do it. If you're nervous, you can run them through the dishwasher w/o soap too.

Oven sanitation would work too, I guess?

i feel baking is better than all that soaking / rinsing. the bottles come out of the oven in a sterile condition and dry.

I'll play safe and wash/rinse them, then bake, store, and star san before use.
