Should I try it?

  • Go for it! Tell me how it goes!

  • Seriously? The fact that you ask makes me think you are mentally ill.

  • Dammit I clicked on another CreamyGoodness thread! ~Chapp

Sheep testicles. We cut them into medallions, seasoned and fries them. They were tasty!

Strangely enough, though, there were three in a pack. ??

ET, the extra testicle.

I dont think I like the implications of a woman ringing in the new year by eating testicles...

What Im concerned about is if the lambs were sacrificed or just castrated (they do this with veal lots of times) eating testicles of an animal that is still alive seems wrong in some many levels

With the size of them, I'd say they were from slaughtered animals. So the sheep was dead before they cut it's balls off. :D

Yeah I wasn´t concerned about the animal. I´ll just hate to be able to tell somebody that I ate some animal´s balls... and that he animal was still live an kicking... you know somebody could get the wrong picture:p

Depends on the way you ate them. :D Sucking them down is worse than eating them once fried up like chips.

There are just some parts of the animal that are not intended to be consumed by humans. I can only imagine what twisted smurf first thought of eating animal testicles.

Maybe I should have tried asparagus instead of okra...

Do you really hate asparagus that much? :D It's great lightly steamed with butter and fresh ground pepper. I can only imagine what it would do in a mead. Considering what your urine smells like after you've had some, it's probably best NOT to use it. :D

How about trying some farm fresh sweet corn?

About halfway through this (Had to run home for lunch and then get gas in the Jeep, so I'm sneaking a bit here and there since lunch is past...)

Um.. It looks kind of thick. Not thick like honey though. Thick like some alien birth waste.

Wow.

Ok, tasting coming up!

Good stuff. I can now see how you guys can compare Creamy to TSA! LOL! I'm kidding!

And lastly, I watched a bit of your kitty porn and that is a great looking cat!

Yeah the cat is a sweetheart. We are going to be rather sad on Wednesday when Lucas (in the video) and his girlfriend adopt him.

If I didn't have two tabbys in the house I'd take him in a flash. I used to have two just like that not long ago, but they just went out one day and never came back. So much for redundancy!

I like to think they met a pair of sexy feline friends and are living it up footloose and fancy free. But I know how many hawks and coyotes we have around here...

These ladies are nowhere near as loving as that Tom.

He wakes me up by lying on the pillow next to my head and purring at high-decibals. If he REALLY doesnt like something you are doing he uses the pads of his paw to push your hand. He's never once bit, hissed, or swiped with his paw.

We theorize that the bodega cats schooled him that if you act really friendly people will feed you and keep you warm.

By the way, I'd hate to throw this out, but I cant see anyway around it. I cant even think of some application I could use it for cookingwise.

My Tabbies both will grab your arm and bite when you are petting them. Not hard, but many people are alarmed when cats do this to them.

As far as the cooking goes, I'm torn between recommending you pour that down the drain immediately and anticipating future comedy of errors videos.

Twist doesnt really play. Its weird. He cuddles and purrs and is a general love sponge, but he wont even bat around a feather or get in a paper bag.

I think it's safe to say that we want MORE, Creamy. We want more looks into your funny little life where you ferment okra as your friends and loved ones laugh at you. It's like watching Being John Malkovich. ;)

OK so what else could CG turn into mead? Kale? Durian? Anyone else have an idea? Let's make a poll and we can vote. I'm taking it for granted that you're up for the challenge. Just think of how much joy we all get out of it. We're depending on you...

Durian mead sounds promising. After the sweet custardy flavor ferments out you're likely left with just the raw sewage element ;)

Maybe add it to gumbo? The honey would tame down the tartness of the tomato and the okra slime would add to the entire dish. Would be lovely.

Habanero peppers, or thai chili peppers, or both. Lots of them  :D

So will you tell us how the gumbo turns out? Use sausage and chicken, in a nice roux... it'll be delicious! Probably don't even have to add the okra, just it's slime would work well. Tomato, seasonings, okra mead.... Yum!! Put it over some rice and enjoy!
