Bottle straight from the lager vessel (no bottling wand/syphon)?

I have been using on of these as a lagering vessel: http://www.wilkinsonplus.com/invt/0022554

Would it be ok just to bottle direct from the tap on the vessel? I have a bottling wand, but this does not fit the tap.

I wouldn't. The splashing and falling of the beer into the bottle will oxiginate it.

I would try to use one or more lenghts of different diameter tubing to act as a step-down. Judging by the pic, warming and stretching a piece of tubing should work. Good luck!
