So I'm putting together a red ale based on stuff I have lying around the house. All I need is a hop schedule, and I was looking for opinions. Here is the recipe (minus hops):

Amount Item Type % or IBU
7.00 lb Pale Liquid Extract (2.5 SRM) Extract 90.2%
0.50 lb Caramel/Crystal Malt - 60L (60.0 SRM) Grain 6.4%
0.13 lb Roasted Barley (500.0 SRM) Grain 1.7%
0.13 lb Special B Malt (150.0 SRM) Grain 1.7%
0.50 tsp Irish Moss (Boil 15.0 min) Misc
1 Pkgs Denny's Favorite 50 (Wyeast Labs #2450)

The hops I have available are as follows:
0.5 oz Galena (12.8%), 0.5 oz Tettnanger (4.5%), 0.25 oz Liberty (4.3%), 0.25 oz Chinook (11.1%), 0.5 oz Columbus (11.1%)

The recipe can use all or some of these hops. Oh, and I will do a 60 minute full wort boil. I was leaning towards something like this: 0.5 oz galena (60min), 0.25 oz Liberty (20min), and 0.5 oz tettnanger (dry hop). Ideas? Suggestions?

Thanks, Mark

I think your suggested hop schedule sounds good. I have a red ale upcoming soon and the hopping for that is 2oz Willamette @ 60 mins, 1 oz Willamette @ 15 mins, and 0.5oz New Zealand Saaz @ 0 minutes.
