I almost bought what looked like Green flash belgian wit with american hops.. But the price was steep... I may have to splurge for a Green Flash smorgasbord based on the mmms.

I've had this (imperial) stout many times,.and it never turns me down. A great beer. I've had a few others from green flash, and they are all great beers. The price at my packy is very good. About $6-7 a bomber.

I just finished a Weihenstephaner Vitus.. my first weizen bock. My first thought was... wow I need to brew this.

I enjoyed that one as well.

Blackstone brewery oatmeal stout. They say it's a seasonal but i hope they keep it around. It has great balance where it's not too bitter and finishes smooth with a pleading mouthfeel

Li'l sand in there tonight, buddy? ;)

First Brrr of the year....

Like usual, the hops make it my favorite winter seasonal. Have a bottle of '11 BA Brrrbon for a little later this month.

Yeah I actually got charged by a wild pit bull today on my lunchtime run and pulled my carry piece and shot it dead through the chest.. But other than that it's been a pretty good day ;)

Started drinking a 1.5 year old Hoptober. Didn't realize it was so old till the first sip.

Then I realized that Hoptober was replaced this year by Red Hoptober and decided to look at the date on the bottle.

There was virtually ZERO hop character and an overly oxidized malt character that forced me to toss it.

For some reason these had been sitting in my company's fridge for the last few weeks. They weren't there before this, so someone must have had them lying around for a long while and decided to get rid of them (Or just play a prank on someone).

I didn't think it should have been that bad unless whoever owned it originally had it outside in 100 degree weather (Directly in sunlight).

Hmm... Got me beat. I only had to deal with assaulting two midgets who were trying to hump on my front yard.

So, since I can't drink beer until the weekend because of the diet but I want to continue participating in this thread until then, I thought I'd post a little beer porn of what I have to look forward to this weekend. This isn't including the Kiwi Pale Ale (Kiwi because of the hops, not because of kiwi fruit) that I just bottled a couple weeks ago, of which I have 48 bottles. I'll go get you some Kleenex. ;)

My kidney just had a mini-stroke! Looks like you're in for one hell of a great Saturday! :mug:

He|| yeah! I'm not even going to try to drink it all, though. By the time I'm schwasted I hope I have the good sense to shift to something more pedestrian so I don't drink the amazing beer in a state where I won't remember it.

You... You bastard.

I saw an ad for a package store that claimed to have the largest selection in CT and by God they did, I tell you what. I saw beers I'd never seen anywhere in CT, including my previous "largest selection" store. I stopped by while I was out running errands, so I didn't do too much damage, but I am going to make a special trip and spend a great deal of time meticulously scrutinizing the selection.

I know that doesn't address your concerns, but I felt you deserved a response. If you're interested I'd be willing make a run for you in return for some Russian River brews, specifically, and others I'm not aware that I want yet.

I'm gonna hit you in a bad place with an aging soccer hooligan.

An unusual 4th pint of Homebrew. It's been that kinda day. Plus, while I usually stick to sessionable beers or one big beer on weeknights, this is pint #4 of my Coronado Imperial Red. It's under attenuated about .003 and roughly hoppy--and I can't get enough of this 9.5% goodness!

Ha - I usually have about 3/night myself. 4 and I don't feel like popping about of bed at full speed I enjoy getting up early. Getting hyper on home roasted coffee is my 2nd favorite part of the day;)

It was in Houston I like boxers better and looking for funk metal. It's kinda of craft beer dry where I'm at. The Das was just sitting on the self. I was there a few days later and they were gone. Lucky I got one more for later.

I haven't seen the enjoy by yet. Probably won't.

I just picked one up Saturday at the Specs downtown Houston location. It wasn't on the shelf so I asked about it and the guy went and got a bottle for me.
