I look forward to the day
My own original riddle I play
But till then this is all I can do
I really need to make my mind brew.. (crappy, but I'm happy!)

My first is in alfalfa, but not in barley;
My second is in girl and also in gnarly.
Oh, for a clue concerning my third!
My fourth is correct if you check the right word.
And last, at least, all equally share;
Put them together, and my name is there.

Edit
I got out of it Flo but there's two more letters
That's a hint and I'm not a bedwetter.
Tell me how the other two are figured out
And I'll explain the first three and buy you an imaginary stout.

Then again if you get the last two
There is nothing that needs explained to you.

Clifton is quite right
Upon this very night
But may I ask you a question?
Because my brain is still digesting
How did you figure out the two last letters?
My mind is okay but yours surely better.

My fourth is correct if you check the right word
The fourth letter is R in correct (which is synonymous with right). Terd.
And last, at least, all equally share
All the words above contain A. Pear.

I'm very happy to see this thread doing well and feel pretty crappy that I might crash (in not a good way) the party.. Please feel free to kick me out and continue on.. Seriously.

I have mixed feelings about what I'm going to post. Obviously I didnt' write it in the few minutes it took me to post.

I'm going for broke. Hope you guys forgive me. Right now you're about the closest friends I have.

This is a sincere post to the poetic genius’s who post on the "Anybody up for a Riddle?" thread and to all the good people on HBT.

To my rhyming riddling friends:

This is not a riddle or rhyme, more like a rant, no not a rant. I don't know the word for it.. A confession (?) I don't know?

For me a chance to breath again and tell you something about me and the last 14 months.

The HBT community's friendship and kinship have helped me
In many more ways than you know or might see

A while ago, it's been nearly a year and a half
I was falsely accused of something; it was felony charges if you ask

Seems in this anonymous internet web
Maybe something’s are easier said

But that's not where I am tonight
Cause justice has prevailed and I'm feeling alright
Dear law thank you for our legal rights
Otherwise I'd be behind prison bars tonight

A man is innocent until proven guilty
That’s only a half truth cause if you have no money for bond
You'll being sucking up water from a prison pond.

Today is a new life for me and my family
The last fourteen months, more going on than I show
I'm just telling the truth to you bro's

All of my life I've lived by one rule
Don't judge others; it's pretty cool
So why did I tell you anything at all?
Today at 5:27 PM. My life has changed and I am in awe
Because truth has prevailed and justice for all.

Just want to forget this trying time and appreciate my family and our lives.

Life

I meant to say so a while back...
I'm glad it all worked out for you and yours.
I had a feeling you were a bit down.
I am happy for you that it's done and you are back to life.

That is the worst rhyming I have done.
Someone post a new riddle so we can have fun.
I would but have none.

Okay I've had some troubled times
They really dont need come to mind
This is another riddle
Put to your mind as a fiddle does to a riddle
Maybe I achieve one each day.
But good brothers we ALL usually have one each day.

I move, I step,
as silent as snow.
I grow, I flick,
from a lit candle wick.
I leap, I bound,
( this still doesn't make sense to me) less substantial than air.
I pass, I go,
with someone I know.
I dash, I tumble,
but it's never my fumble.

LabRatBrwer,
Your reason to quest only in daylight
Brings to me a shinning light
You know man you have the answer
You know what LRB... you must be a pretty good dancer.

Cheers Bro... Thankyou for what you bring to this forum
It's probably more than you know then when you're snor'n. (it rhymed - :()

My psuedo poetry/rhyming doesn't get better in the late night
So I"m hitting the rack, I hope your weekend's out of sight!

Me thinks the answer would be a flame
But if im not right then on me is the blame

What i cant figure out is the houses of color
Can someone help me before i ask my mother

LRB you have a wonderful way
Of making a new rhyme in the answer you say
For me I'll figure it out from right to left today
And agree with you it's the pennies in a dollar
But if that is not right, I will not holler.

That is A good question
But I have no suggestion.
It is just a try
Think I have pink eye

Dan, I don't think the answer you saw
Do you remember the joke about the three legged dog?
He was gunning for the man who shot his paw
This clue is extremely vague and might not lift the fog
Perhaps you can claw through
Make the two bold words plural, maybe that'll do

You both solved the math one.
with whizzes like you guys,
I knew it would be done.

I don't get the last one.
Even with the clue...
LabRat is the heart of this thread.
What would we all do without you?

Mr Ishchavio I definitley agree
Without LRB this thread would cease be
I'm no closer to the answer even with the clue
I'd like to spend a day in LabRatB's shoes.

A feline has clawses in it's pawses
A complex line has pauses in its clauses
And if its all the same to ye
I'd rather pet the kitty

Ginger beat me to the punch,
I quickly had the hunch.
Maybe next time I can,
Beat him to Mary Anne.

Ginger, Dan, Ischiavo and Passedpawn sat down to play
They played all night till the break of day
They played for gold and not for fun
With separate scores for everyone
When they came to square accounts
They all made quite fair amounts
Can you explain this paradox
How everyone won, and no one lost?

Each man played against LabRatBrewer
Every score unique their forutunes grew further
Wait a minute I'll be right back
Need to go flip over my flapjacks.

meh?
