just wondering which software is most helpful with mini mash-partial boil. would like to create recipes, alter 5 gal all grain, adjust hops, etc.:cross:

The usual suspects are all quite good. Ultimately it just comes down to interface preferences, etc. BrewSmith, Beer Tools, Promash, iBrewmaster...

Does Beersmith have an online component, I have been noodling around with Beerblogger, and Brewthology, but it is hard to get past the need for site users to have to create separate logins for the tool(s). Any suggestions?

so they all can convert a 5 gal. all grain into a 2-3 gal (with sparge ) mini mash with extract
? i dont want to spend the money until I know it does what i need it to.

brewtarget is free and is very good, you cn set up your equipment profiles - it may do conversions, - all you will waste is a bit of time and no $$$:D

Beersmith does partial mash and scales recipes. It even adjusts temps (strike water and such) to match your equipment. It is an awesome tool. If you try a free one and are disappointed beersmith will get the job done.
