They are totally worth it, and Williams offers the whole assembly for under $50.

Unless you use them everyday, the cheap-os will stick and disappoint you.
A perfectly good use for cheap-os is at a "real" bar or for a jockey box.

Most of the reason for them being more is because they are stainless. They are not that much more then the old style faucet that is all stainless. They will last much longer then just the chrome cheap-o ones due to them being stainless.

WHAT!!!! Superior doesn't carry forward sealing faucets anymore..... bummer.

Plus they are a lot prettier than the standard faucets, with the brushed steel spout and all.

Oh well. The link posted to Williams is pretty much just as good.
On topic, the Perlicks are worry free and do not stick. It is worth it IMHO.

It's actually a better deal, I did some pretty serious shopping around when I put together my 8 tap kegerator. Williams was easily the best deal since superior didn't include the handle or flange.
It is a pretty good deal. When I got mine at superprod, it was:
$29 perlick
$12 shank
$ 3 handle
$44 total but things change..... William's it is.
