I want to grow some Hops for the locals. I own a farm and can grow most anything and was asked to try hops.

??? What kind to I try ??

Should I try something hard to get or rare? I have no problem with that

Could you please send reply's to my email

Instead of hard or rare, maybe something that would really grow well for the area and is a good common hop used in a bunch of beer styles? Maybe a Cascade for the all around hop and a Centennial or Columbus for something higher alpha acid?

How many rows, how much land. Hand picked hops?

I am a home gardener, picking hops are very time consuming, I love it. A farmer on the other hand might consider it a waste of time for the price of the product. You have to dry them , etc. A lot of YouTube videos on it.

Sorry to be a devils advocate on this issue. If you have the land and spare time, then go for it. You might end up growing them on a larger scale.
