okay, i ordered a thermowell a while back and finally got around to trying it out. my ranco probe didn't quite fit. i remembered reading about having to shave the coating off the probe--but apparently that advice was not in regards to the ranco probes. so after i started trying to shave some of the material off, i realized that this thing is apparently plastic all the way through. :cross:
so, did i ruin the probe, or should i just keep going until it fits? also, would a love temp probe work with the ranco, since i'm about to order some stuff from dwyer anyway?
