Speidel Fermenter Brass Spigot

One of the few issues I have with the Speidel is the apparent metric size of the plastic tap/spigot. It doesn't like to play with imperial vinyl tubing very well. I found this on the German Amazon page - a brass spigot for Speidel fermenters. I'm curious if it would be more forgiving. I also like the brass vs the plastic. Not for any real reason - just preference. They'll ship to US for pretty cheap.



They also have the Speidel 60L Fermenter for $63! But won't ship it to the US.

Has anyone used this spigot with any luck? Thanks!

I can't comment on brass vs plastic...but as far as hose. I take 1/2 id silicone hose and slide it all the way up the spigot. Works great

Wouldn't the brass one be metric also?
