Went to Lowes to find a plug end for my electric brew rig and saw a 50Amp Spa Panel there for like $46 or so. It was an Eaton brand. Tall and narrow.

Might make a nice option for those who don't have a Home Depot nearby. It came with the GFCI breaker already installed.

Ok, dumb question here, I am going to start doing this myself in a few days, so as I am doing a lot of searching on this at the mement, I figured asking here couldn't hurt either:

All I have to do is buy a 50a GFCI spa panel, wire in a dryer outlet (mine needs to be 4 prong) and then have my electrician (father in law) wire it to my main breaker box. Is this right, or am I missing something major here?

Basically. This is the start of the electric brewing project.

I saw that same Eaton Panel online for about $80. Might have been a pricing mistake.
