Looks like a nice pot to me, however if you are stovetopping, a sandwich base pot requires more heat to reach a boil and might present a challenge. If stovetopping, I would go aluminum...YMMV.

edit...i see you are on a burner...the ss pot should work well.
 
Most pots that have a sandwich bottom are aluminum coated in SS. I have a 5 gallon pot like this and used it fine on weak ass 40 year old stovetops no problem.
