Is there a way? Will it not taste terrible? Has someone already attempted it? Was just wondering. Might help a new brewer fix a brew that's went wrong. Has anyone ever attempted something like it?

A little clarification would help... Do you mean a beer made with grapes? If so there are quite a few including Midas touch, noble rot and 61 minute all from dogfish head.

or do you mean like a barley wine with its boosted body, taste and alcohol? Thats really like a super beer. WVMJ

The latter is more of what I meant. Like using the wort from the beer, just adding sugar for a wine like high gravity. Does it turn out more like wine or beer?

Dont add to much sugar, use more malt then you will have lot of body. Drop in some rasins if you want to call it wine. WVMJ

The trick will be finding a beer yeast that will ferment a high gravity wort. Depending on the sugar, maybe a wine yeast will be needed.
