Are you asking what hop schedule might be good for the second, small beer you pulled after getting all your wort for the stout?

Not sure what volumes you ended up with, but I'd just target an IBU of 30-40. A single 60 minute addition would be fine or you could finish with a half oz of goldings if you prefer. Hitting the IBUs would be the most critial part. 75-10% of the OG is a good IBU target.

Yes, the question was what sort of hop schedule we should use for the small beer we pulled from the stout. We did a 1oz 60 minute addition of styrian goldings and 1/2 oz fuggles at 15 minutes... along with a bit of bittersweet chocolate at 15 and some sumatra coffee at flameout. We will see...

Good luck! Should be an interesting experiment. Out of curiosity, what was the original gravity of the small beer?

Well, we ended up at 1.026. I think it's going to be a strange brew. A brew nonetheless. Looks like chocolate milk and we ended up with about 3 gallons. Maybe after trub and losses we will get 2.5 gallons of 3% beer. Let's hope it's tasty!
