Two Beers in the Desert

There is a great story on ESPN.com about how our solders will get two beers for the superbowl. Some will criticize the choice of beer, of course, but it seems like it means a lot to them.

It's Schlitz, along with Lou Malnati's pizza, from Chicago

Schlitz is decent. It's like hoppy PBR. I dig 'em both when i want something refreshing.

Schlitz is listed as an 'import' at a local blues place here in town. I don't know why, but it is.

Why is this a story? Everyone except the Americans is allowed to drink. I think its complete bull****.

I suspect it's a story for the reason you listed, American's aren't allowed to drink. It may be 'bull****' but thems the rules, but not on Superbowl Sunday.

Well heres my report. Since the mariens royally f'ed up the beer order, we only got one beer. (well that was the story I heard). On top of that it was a MGD. Only reason I had one, how offten do you get to have a beer in Iraq?

At least they get something I didn't last time.
